About X-Ray Exam Types
We offer a full range of diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients of all ages, including imaging of the chest, spine, skull, pelvis, hips, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, knees, feet, and other joints and bones throughout the body. Our clinic also performs specialized imaging for arthritis assessments, scoliosis and standing spinal studies, sports and workplace injuries, paediatric imaging, and pre-operative or post-operative examinations, including imaging commonly requested for hip and knee replacement assessments. Using modern digital X-ray technology, we provide high-quality images to assist physicians, surgeons, chiropractors, and specialists with accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing care.
Who Performs and Reports my X-Ray Exam?
Your x-ray imaging will be performed by a qualified x-ray technologist or radiographer. X-ray technologists are a regulated profession in the province of Ontario as Medical Radiation Technologists (MRT).
Please note that legally a radiographer is unable to answer any questions pertaining to the results of your examination, as the Radiologist will be the personnel responsible for providing that information relating to your examination.
Once your images have been taken, our experienced Radiologists view and interpret the images and compile a report for your referring health care provider.
