Uninsured Services

All uninsured examinations require a requisition from a licensed healthcare provider.

Sinus X-Ray:

Please note that sinus X-rays are not covered by OHIP and are considered an uninsured examination. Patients are responsible for the full cost of the exam at the time of their appointment. Please call the clinic for current pricing information. Payment is accepted by exact cash or debit only. You will be provided with a detailed invoice that may be submitted to your private health insurance provider, such as employer benefits, if applicable. Please note that we are unable to bill private insurance companies directly.

Non-Ontario Health Card:

Health cards from all other Canadian provinces and territories are accepted and billed on your behalf, with the exception of Quebec. Patients with a Quebec health card will be required to pay for services at the time of their visit and will be provided with the necessary documentation for reimbursement.

Interim Federal Health (IFH) and University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP):

Coverage for patients with Interim Federal Health (IFH), University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP), and certain other government-sponsored insurance programs may be accepted and billed on your behalf. Eligibility and coverage amounts may vary depending on your plan and the type of examination being performed. Patients are encouraged to speak with our staff at the time of booking to confirm coverage details, possible out-of-pocket costs, and accepted payment methods. If required, our team will also provide any available documentation needed for reimbursement purposes.

Uninsured:

Patients without valid health insurance coverage will be required to pay for all imaging services provided. A requisition from a licensed healthcare provider is required for all examinations. Costs vary depending on the type of examination ordered, so please call the clinic for current pricing information. Payment is accepted by exact cash or debit only. Some examinations require a scheduled appointment, therefore patients are encouraged to contact the clinic in advance to confirm booking requirements and availability. A detailed invoice will be provided at the time of payment for personal records or insurance reimbursement purposes.
