Appointments

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another patient who may be waiting for an appointment.

We understand that unexpected and unavoidable situations can happen. If you are unable to provide 24 hours’ notice due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, please contact our office as soon as possible.

Scheduling

Late Arrival Policy

Arriving 10 minutes early helps keep appointments running on time.

To help keep appointments running on time for all patients, we ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you; however, depending on the schedule and examination type, your appointment may need to be rescheduled or you may be seen later than originally planned when time becomes available.

We understand that delays can happen and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Privacy & Safety

Chaperone Policy

Patients may request a chaperone before or during their appointment.

At Erin Diagnostic Imaging, patient comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety are important to us. A chaperone may be requested or recommended during certain examinations, particularly for procedures involving sensitive areas or when additional support is appropriate.

Chaperones may be used to help provide reassurance, support communication, promote patient comfort, maintain professional standards, and help ensure a safe and respectful environment for both patients and staff throughout the examination.

A chaperone serves as neutral personnel whose role is to help ensure patient comfort, maintain professional standards, and provide reassurance during the examination. A chaperone should ideally be a trained clinical professional familiar with the examination being performed. When available, the clinic will make reasonable efforts to provide a staff chaperone of the same sex as the patient. In some situations, a family member or friend may also be permitted to act as a chaperone, provided they are able to remain impartial throughout the examination. Chaperones do not participate in the examination itself and must follow clinic privacy and safety policies.

Patients are welcome to request a chaperone at any time before or during their appointment.

For patient safety and quality assurance, the presence, refusal, or request for a chaperone may be documented as part of your medical record.

Please let our staff know prior to your examination if you would like a chaperone present so we can make the appropriate arrangements and help ensure your visit is as comfortable as possible.

Safety

Children in the Examination Room

Children are not permitted in exam rooms during imaging procedures.

We kindly ask that patients make childcare arrangements prior to their appointment, as children are not permitted in the examination room during imaging procedures. This policy helps ensure the safety, privacy, and comfort of all patients, while also allowing our technologists to focus fully on performing the examination.

We understand that unexpected situations and emergencies can occur. If you need to bring a child or children to your appointment, please contact our clinic in advance so that special arrangements or preparations can be discussed when possible.

Privacy

Cell Phone & Recording Policy

Photos, videos, audio, and phone use are not permitted during examinations.

For the privacy, safety, and comfort of all patients and staff, the use of cell phones and any form of audio or video recording is not permitted during your examination. This includes taking photos, videos, or recordings within the exam room. We kindly ask that all mobile devices be silenced and put away prior to your appointment. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a respectful clinical environment.

Patient Portal

PocketHealth

Securely access, download, and share your imaging records online.

PocketHealth is a secure online image-sharing platform that allows patients at Erin Diagnostic Imaging to conveniently access their medical imaging records and reports from anywhere. Through PocketHealth, patients can securely view, download, and share their imaging exams with healthcare providers or family members using a computer or mobile device.

Once enrolled, you can access your images digitally without needing CDs or in-person pick-up. The same account can often be used to view imaging from participating healthcare facilities, making it easier to keep track of your medical records in one place.

Scent-Free Policy

Please avoid scented products when visiting the clinic.

To help provide a safe and comfortable environment for all patients and staff, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing scented products such as perfume, cologne, body sprays, or strongly scented lotions when visiting our clinic. Many individuals have sensitivities or allergies to fragrances, and your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
